Project Engineer –
Automation and control

About BeeBeeOne

BeeBeeOne B.V. is at the forefront of developing the technical core for large-scale energy storage systems based on clean technology. We are a young and dynamic company working on groundbreaking energy solutions.

What will you do?

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing advanced control systems for industrial applications. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to develop and test customized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define control requirements for industrial systems.

  • Program and configure PLCs (e.g., Beckhoff, Delta) and work with SCADA and HMI systems.

  • Develop control philosophies and detailed functional descriptions for industrial automation systems.

  • Read and understand wiring diagrams for low and medium voltage cabinets as well as P&IDs.

  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for control and automation components.

  • Design and build control cabinets.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a hands-on mentality. You are analytical, independent, and enjoy working as part of a team.

Your profile:

  • HBO/University degree in control engineering or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong critical thinking skills.

  • Motivated, reliable, and ambitious team player.

  • Able to work independently and willing to learn from mistakes.

  • Creative, positive, and able to communicate ideas effectively.

  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
